The prevailing regulation (EN 365) prescribes that personal protective equipment (P.P.E.) against falls from a height must be subjected to annual review by a competent person in order to verify the equipment’s safety and functionality. It is further suggested that customers invest in a training course for the management of P.P.E. that covers product identification, best practices, use of product life sheets, periodic examinations and proper retirement of old or damaged equipment. Properly trained individuals, organizations and retailers can receive a certificate for the management and inspection of CAMP Safety equipment.
